Both are awesome. Personally I prefer the weilong since it feels nicer and is more controllable. Stickers don't wear out that quickly, so don't worry (GTS has been my main for a year-ish and I still haven't changed the stickers). Thunderclap v2 is also awesome.Weilong GTS vs Thunderclap V1 - I am trying to decide between these two cubes. Ive heard that the weilong GTS is too fast, and my finger tricks are horrible and even a stiff Yulong feels uncontrollable in my hands. I also like the thunderclap because it's cheap and I heard it's easier to control. Can someone suggest the cube for me which is smooth and controllable and forgives inaccurate turns while not locking or catching? Will the thunderclap be better than the weilong for me in this case?
Also, I'm hesitating about the weilong because I've never had a stickers cube before and I fear that the stickers will wear off soon and I'll have to get a new set. I really want a weilong GTS because it has so many good reviews but I don't know whether I'll even be able to control it. I can also get a yuexiao if it matches my description. Ive heard many say that the thunderclap is outdated because of the not-squared off corners.
OK, I was leaning towards the weilong anyway lolBoth are awesome. Personally I prefer the weilong since it feels nicer and is more controllable. I guess my question would be: why are those your only two choices? They are two very different cubes at different price points.OK, I was leaning towards the weilong anyway lol
I think top 2x2 solvers still consider the old Dayan with black internals the best but they are hard to come by and expensive. Some more recent standouts have been the Tangpo and Yuxin White. Just recently the GuoGuan Xinghen 2x2 came out and it also needs some setup but is getting really positive reviews.
How much are you willing to spend?
Thanks for the advice, I think I have a Shengshou 2x2 which I average around 7 seconds on, but I often lock up on it, sometimes very badly. Is Moyu Weipo quite good as well?
I looked at some reviews and I think Guoguan Xinghen sounds like the best for me.
I'm not too worried about the cost.
It's actually difficult to find one that can't be used for sub-20.Suggest a cube below 5$ which can be used for sub 20 solves
The Bullfight is a couple years old and $9, I'm sure it's fine but it might be a little outdated and it doesn't fit the budget you specified. How about YJ cubes. Or qiyi mofang ge bull fight.

The MF3S is an upgraded Guan Long.and most people seem to regard the MF3RS as an upgraded GuanLong.
The Thunderclap V1 is very popular among very fast people, often preferred over even very expensive cubes like the Air, Valk, and GTS. Why are you looking to get a new cube? Do you not like how the Thunderclap feels? What cube should I get? I'm sub 30 and I'm currently using QiYi Thunderclap v1. I was thinking about getting a ShengShou FangYuan or a QiYi Warrior W. I like smooth and fast cubes. Please recommend a cheap cube.
Yeah, I do not really enjoy the feeling of Thunderclap. And yeah, Gan Air might be the cube I'm looking for.The Thunderclap V1 is very popular among very fast people, often preferred over even very expensive cubes like the Air, Valk, and GTS. I don't know about cheap cubes, but the Gans Air is pretty much the definition of smooth and fast.
Dude, seriously, we've answered that question so many times already. We said it's good, but there are others that are way cheaper and way better. You ignore us. Fine. It sounds like you really like the YuLong. If you want the YuLong, get the YuLong. Case closed. There's your answer. How about YJ yulong
