I'm looking at getting a few different cubes and I want to switch up mains. I'm thinking I'll get a ys3m, tornado v3, and/or a super rs3m. Which models of each cube do you think are best (eg. maglev vs ball core)? Do the cubes have a different feel where it's worth getting all 3 or should I just get 1 or 2 of them (if one is just a better version of the other).
Also, I want to upgrade my 2x2. I have a MGC and I don't like it. The magnets feel weak and the corner cutting is either too tight, or if you loosen it I'm always getting corner twists. It is also very slippery (even after thousands of solves it falls out of my hands too much and my fingers slip in algorithms). I want something with adjustable magnets and ideally adjustable magnets, I'm leaning towards a gan 251 (not sure which model), but I'm not set on that.

Ball Core YS3M, Flagship Tornado V3, and a Gan 251 M Pro.

Thank you! I was kind of leaning towards getting the V3 and either the super or the YS3M. Do you think it's worth it to get the UV coated YS3M? I've never tried a UV coated cube before, so does it actually help or is it just unnecessary?

I don't think it's worth the extra $12, but it's completely personal preference. Some people strongly hate frosted cubes, but I don't really mind them.

I watched some videos on it, and it seems like most people like it better than the YS3M, and it's less controllable, but it is faster. So, I'm going to look into that a bit more. Thanks for the input!
Better unmaglev it to make it more stable. Any moyu springs from any modern moyu 3x3s would work, from gts3 to rs3m2020 to ys3m

Both the YS3 and v9 are very viable options. I find the YS3 to be quite valk-ish, and I mained the valk for almost 3 years, so I like it quite a lot. I've not tried the v9 myself but from what I've heard it has a very different feel to the YS3, and with both cubes performing well you might want to decide based on feel.

For the price point of some of these, I'm also considering the 11M pro as an alternative. If the 11M pro is better than either the V9 or YS3M, but has a different feel to the V3, I'll get that and the V3. I'm still undecided on the V9 vs YS3M, and I'm going to wait a bit anyway, so maybe there will be more reviews about the V9 that help me make a decision.

In that case I recommend WRM v9 + Moretry Tianma x3 Snap

I do actually recommend getting normal plastic and glossy-shining it with paper. Plus, the WeiPo WRS is better than the 251 M Pro in my opinion.

I guess it depends on what feel you are going for. The WRS is extremely variable depending on setup but the MGC Elite and the 251 both feel good in their own way (crunchy and fast vs smooth, airy and even faster). WRS is still the cheapest even with all its features at only around $14 for everyone except for @Fukuoka Kengo James where it is like $2.50

Ok. It’s just in the uk it’s selling for 80+ pounds and my parents said it’s my only chance to buy it and I don’t want any regrets.
Is there any difference in performance between them?
thanks for you comment btw
