Is this a Cubing classroom Meilong 2x2?
It's non magnetic. It's too tight to disassemble
Did some research in different stores and finally found it out

Hi all, I'd like help identifying this puzzle. I know it is a Ghosthand puzzle because it was my main when i walked away from cubing years ago & i remember it being phenomenal then but it feels genuinely terrible compared to today's hardware. There was a version I, version II, and 2003A produced according the wikipage. This was most likely purchased this from Cube4u circa 2008-2009. Both the edges and corners feature a single cap that pops off to reveal a hollow piece. The edges corners and centers all have stamps in the plastic that say "(GS)" on the top and a number "1", "2", "3", or "4" on the bottom once the center cap is popped.
I plan to give this cube a face lift by applying either Cubesmith supercube stickers or some custom Cubsmith shades i have that only fit older puzzles. I regret taking the original stickers off to make an F2L only cube because the original stickers had such a retro and faded look that i wish i could recreate.
Any ideas what it is? Bonus, what lubes work well with this plastic, you can see all the old residue most likely from RC car diff fluid.

Dude great idea. I've pretty confident its a "V1" after searching the Youtube archives. I really want to find one for sale now...every time I see this on the shelf i have regrets of puling the yellow side stickers off.Your best bet if you really want to know is to watch youtube videos from the 2009-2012 period when people showed off the mechs. It is not a v2 since those had very prominent ridges on edges and corners. See

Looks like it to me, but I’m not 100%. I’m like 95% sure.So I would like someone to confirm that this is indeed an original Hungarian Supernova megaminx. It looks exactly like one but I'm not sure. Also if it helps, I know this is from before 2008 at least.

Yeah the one thing I wasn't sure about is that it has normal megaminx shades, while the ones I've seen in videos and on Ebay have wacky color schemes.Looks like it to me, but I’m not 100%. I’m like 95% sure.
Could have been retiled.Yeah the one thing I wasn't sure about is that it has normal megaminx shades, while the ones I've seen in videos and on Ebay have wacky color schemes.
The stickers look like they are the old Shengshou kind. So I'd say one of the earlier SS 4x4's, but I don't know the difference between the versions
I have bad news - this cube is so cheaply made, it doesn't have stickers. The colors are painted on.The stickers look like they are the old Shengshou kind. So I'd say one of the earlier SS 4x4's, but I don't know the difference between the versions
pretty well painted thoughI have bad news - this cube is so cheaply made, it doesn't have stickers. The colors are painted on.
it's not. you can see lines where the paint missed. all my old cubes were painted and they all begin chipping after some use.pretty well painted though
It’s probably from a little later than the ‘80s, since I doubt Rubik’s had a website that early. My guess would be late ‘90s to the early ‘00s.Can someone tell what era this Rubik's brand cube is from based on the logo? My mother gave it to me as a gift, presumably it's from the 80's since it was hers. It is definitely old & think doing a full solve on this might be as hard as running a marathon; This thing is HARD to turn! There is no center caps on this puzzle, the centers are a single solid piece.

Good point. I’d still like to now exactly when it’s from though. It’s probably from a little later than the ‘80s, since I doubt Rubik’s had a website that early. My guess would be late ‘90s to the early ‘00s.
I have one with the same design, but looks a bit older and mine is from the late 80'sGood point. I’d still like to now exactly when it’s from though.
I think it's an air S.I have this cube that I've had since I started cubing, I think I accidentally stole it from my friend. anyway, I'm 99% Sure that is a Gans cube, it's about 55.5 mm, non magnetic, and is at least 3 years old. (During or before 2017) It has a track on the corner, and some on the foot of the corner, and the edge has none. It has what I think is GES nuts, and idk what pictures you need so I will just include all of them that I took. here's the link https://ibb.co/album/jbBqdW
Edit: it weighs 76 grams
