Hello, I bought this cube a couple of months ago, but I never got its reference. It’s an unstickered 2x2, 50 mm large. I love its feeling, I’d want the same but with magnets. Thanks in advance!

I don’t know about the cube type, but you can magnetise it yourself if you buy some magnets and DIY it. It’ll be cheaper, since you’re not buying the whole cube.
That’s an option too, if I can find a magnet set that can fit (there aren’t a lot of cubing stores based in Europe, and it seems that 4 mm diameter magnets wouldn’t fit).

Tada! It's a MF2S!
Thank you! Looks like it hasn’t been released with magnets in it; I’ll definitely have to take the DIY route.

Thanks to both of you!

@Vim I need some help here real quick. Can you take a picture of the corner piece of your 2x2 with the cap on it taken off? I need to see the INSIDE STRUCTURE to see if MF2S is suitable for my next generation smart cube project.

It doesn’t look like a split piece design... Full primary plastic, caps.

So can you use it for your smartcube project?
Probably!

Actually, even if I use a regular three prong design 2x2, I can arrange two smaller magnets at two sides of the skeleton thing(hard to describe without pic) to act as a big magnet and according to my calculations it would work just as fine.

But it’s always nice to make things simpler:)

I got this cube a couple of weeks ago on amazon. It was fully lubed has good magneta and is overall a very good stickerless 3x3. As I bought it of Amazon I was pretty sure it was a fake does anyone think they know what this is, can provide more pictures if needed. 66474678-3EA1-4793-88F2-550183C6C16B.jpeg
