What resources and things should I do? Any help is very much appreciated
That is true, I completely forgot that most of the time beginners solve cross on top, or do the flower method.Nah imo cross solutions need refining. If you don't already solve cross on bottom do so and improve transition to f2l and save a z2. Also watch videos on advanced cross when you get a grip on f2l
no that hasnt been updated in years. speedcubedb is far betterIf you want an alg that suits your preferred finger tricks, use algdb.net.
JPerm for intermediate knowledge of CFOP.What resources and things should I do? Any help is very much appreciated
Yes. Jperm's videos are so helpfulLearn F2L intuitively with J Perm's tutorial. It's gonna take a while to figure out, but once it clicks it becomes pretty natural. For 2 look OLL and 2 look PLL (collectively known as 4 Look Last Layer), I recommend the cube skills pdf of all the algorithms.
Also a good way to learn 4LLL is J Perm's tutorials. They're especially helpful because he explains recognition for the cases; I recommend watching these videos to learn the cases then maybe use the pdf to actually memorize the algorithms:
