Weirdest PBs

I just got a 9.89(3x3), which is my first sub 10. What makes it weird is that I actually messed up cross and had to do an M2 U2 M2 parity to fix it before doing OLL. Has anybody else had any PBs or solves like this?(Not necessarily 3x3)

i also had one just like yours (i think it was 6.83) but i did it on pll since i basically got a skip but i had to to an M2 U2 M2 to solev it

That was the WORST solve ever and I got PR. Double parity, mispaired edges, and enough pauses to fill an entire other 4x4 solve within them.

my only solve on the Mirror blocks was a 21.290 because I got a last layer skip

and some people believe that beginner's luck isn't real smh

It wasn't pb but I once got a 9 second solve on 3x3 with 4LLL

Now I think about it- I have another really weird one- I got a 13.15(PB at the time) with LBL.

Don’t practice 4x4 much anymore but a couple of weeks ago I picked it up, did one solve, got a pb of 34, put it down and haven’t done a solve since

4x4 single PB: absolutely murdered the H perm at the end.

Four months ago I was video recording an ao5 for an online comp and I got my first sub-30 (29.03), which was pretty great since I averaged 45. I wanted to celebrate but I was still recording the ao5. I was so much in shock that my next solve was 1:03.
