In the pre-maskow days, people tried all sorts of combinations upto 8 cubes for a pack.
Maskow stuck with 8 cubes and so did a few MBLDers who overtook him.
Nowadays pack of 10 is chosen at the highest level for doing Memo + Review.
My question is what is the upper limit for the number of cubes that can be included in a pack for more MBLD points score, or is 10 cubes a sweet spot?
Personally I feel more than 10 cubes, say 12 would make the spaced repetition harder and the competitor will need more focus and ability to retain more information before the reviews, but who knows 12-pack may turn out to be outright better than 10-pack few years down the line.
