I've been descending through the sub-20s for a about a month, but now I have a problem. Earlier this week, my avg of 12 was 14.9, but now it is very unstable (13-18).
I think my main problem is debating whether to focus on look-ahead or turning speed, and how to get better at looking ahead. Any useful tips would be appreciated.

I've sort of had this problem too. I find that I really have to concentrate on going slow and looking ahead rather than turning fast. When I do turn slow my times are around 15-16 sec. average. When I turn fast I average 17-18 sec. Just try your best to go slower than usual.
