I've been out of cubing 'competitively' for a few years now, and still have my collection. I would estimate right now before I've done any totaling that I spent well over $1,000+ on my collection and they rarely ever see daylight anymore. I've been strongly considering selling at least a good portion, and was wondering if anyone with more experience than myself could maybe help me determine how to price them and/or organize selling them. I apologize in advance if I am using this Forum wrong, but I want to make sure I am not approaching this incorrectly. Any help is much appreciated!

If you want to sell cubes, then you are in the right place! If you sent me a list of the puzzles you have collected, then I could help put a price on each cube.

Thank you very much! Like I said before, It's a pretty large collection. Or at least compared to what I've seen glancing around the forums. I also do not know them all by name anymore so it will take quite some time to get them all figured out.

Are they mostly older speed cubes, or non-wca puzzles? A good place to start would be adding some photos of your collection so members can help identify them and maybe point out any that would be more collectable.

There are a couple old Rubik's brand 3x3's but other than that mostly everything is more 'modern' WCA and Non-Wca. I can get a picture together.

The problem with selling them as singles is that you have to do packaging and shipping for every one of them.
If you sell the whole collection you won't get as much much money as they are worth.

I would try to sell them at a competition, where people can see and test them, pay cash and take them right away

I am in a very similar situation, and am wondering if you could do the same. I wanted to message you but it says the people who can message you are limited. Could you make it so that I can message you?

If either of you two have any Gan smart cubes let me know. I’m looking for the 356 i2 and 356 iplay version 1.

One big rule of thumb when selling big bulk lots of cubes is that don't overprice it. That will denture many potential buyers away from it. I've seen some people list their collection/bulk lot of cubes at a ridiculously high price. Like for say $200 for 20 puzzles. Most of those puzzles are like those cheap budget Yj, Moyu, Qiyi, and Yuxin along with some Rubik's brands. But really price it out fairly to a more reasonable price. Even though you'll lose some money compared to what you've spent to buy them all. Another thing is to look at the more valuable and desirable puzzles and sell those individually or bundled with a few other puzzles. Like for say sell a Gan 11 Pro M UV with a 2021 WRM Maglev and a Tornado v2 for $50. That'll give cubers a good speedcubing 3x3 bundle for a good price. At the same time those are older cube that are somewhat outdated but still good enough to be relevant for today.
