Tips for being sub 1 on 4x4?

depends on what 3x3 stage you use, from what i found out. (i dont practice 4x4 much anymore)
pair suggestions:
CFOP+Yau
Roux+Meyer
ZZ+Hoya
Any edge style is viable, as long as it isnt edge-by-edge (the single alg)

never heard of meyer
ill look into it
Basically Yau for Roux.

Start like Yau with two opposite centers.
Then make a first block similar to 3 cross edges on Yau.
Solve Remaining Centers
Pair remaining Edges
Do Roux, with the first block already done.
I believe you do OLL Parity before CMLL if needed.
And PLL parity is toward the end of LSE iirc.
