Double post, but the Yuhu finally came! Haven't done any solves yet, but OOTB it turns great. I thought the weird grooves wear bigger but thank God they're not. I'm not gonna switch the Grey and black pieces yet tho, I'll leave it for when I'm really bored.

I've done 50 solves on the Yuhu so I can get used to the feel of it, I'm absolutely loving it. I basically broke all my PBs, which is mad for sure. I still have a lot to work on before sub-1 tho, majorly - lookahead, efficiency and last layer. I'm gonna swap out the Grey pieces for the Black tonight, since it would probably look cooler and help my LL a little.
Minor goal for now, sub-1:10.

I'm gonna lay off the timing for now and focus on slow solving to improve efficiency, especially in Star and F2L.
From what I understand, to be sub-1:10, Star and F2L should be around 23 seconds, mine is currently 30 seconds, so I really have to work on that. S2L seems fine-ish to me, I'll still try to improve efficiency tho.

Also focus on LL and s2l lookahead. It is important NOT TO PAUSE during LL, especially during EP. (Other parts, too. But mostly EP)
Make sure to track some edges during CO so that you can easily know what the EP is when you get it.

Found an ao12 I did from before I became active on the forums. I was still using redux for 4x4 and a month later after, I switched to Yau, I was averaging around 1 minute. 6 months after learning 4x4 and I'm averaging around 45.
