Hey guys! I see sometimes people asking what skewb they should get for X reason with X budget. In this thread I will compare skewbs.

Budget:

QiYi QiCheng
Moyu Meilong Skewb

I would go with the Moyu Meilong if you are really on a budget but in my opinion I wouldn't buy any budget skewbs.

Midrange:

Moyu RS Skewb
Moyu RS Skewb Maglev
X-Man Wingy (v1) (Outdated by now)
Gan Skewb (Base Version)

This is a tough one. In fairness the RS Skewbs barely miss the mark for budget, and I would normally go with those for sub $15. That being said, the Gan Skewb is the best. I see a lot of people asking about the Wingy V1 but it is super outdated by now.

Flagship:

Gan Skewb (All Features)
X-Man Wingy V2
Moyu Weilong Maglev
Moyu Weilong Spring

Since this one is close I will rank them from worst to best (imo).

4th: Weilong (Maglev)
3rd: Weilong (Spring)
2nd: Wingy V2 (My main)
1st: Gan Skewb (All Features)


Note: The Gan Skewb now has a UV version on the enhanced, so you can pay extra for that :)

So with the wingy v2, if you have it on screw depth 1, it is the only one in my experience that pops regularly. Even if you just have screw depth level 2 it should be fine.

I would go for the wingy v1, just because it's $6 which is a great price

Good Review! The only thing I would say is that The Base Gan Skewb is still good enough to be a flagship Skewb
