It’s only better for people that can’t lookahead.
It's also great at helping avoid hundreds of rotations every solve

Ok, fair. But the benefits it provides for lookahead are exponential. The majority of top cubers are now using Yau for 5x5, and I think even for 6x6, for good reason.

True. I think I’ve got kind of a negative view towards Yau since I’ve tried using it for so long, then I switched to Redux and got better times instantly.

Chat some crazy things happened this weekend. (I can't post on weekends so that's why I update on the weekdays).
I was cheering @NebraskanSpeedsolver during his comp, and I was also hoping that some of my track teammates would do well at a meet on Saturday (which they did. They all PRed). anyway, here's some stuff from me:
I got 37.58 4x4 PB ao5 and a 39.28 ao12.
I also managed to get a 7:56.61 2-7 relay pb, and I can still do 3-BLD yay!.

2:12.63, 1:46.52, 2:16.62

I also got a 2:02.92 on 6x6. I'm getting closer to sub-2, though not there yet!
I ran 11.2 miles on Saturday, and cut my hair on Sunday. No more mop on the top.
That's all the crazy stuff that happened (for me) this weekend.
