The Most Overated/Underated Country in Cubing

I don't know what is the most overated country, but I mostly wanted to make this thread to talk about Romania since is sooo underated, and also to hear your opinions

I think that Romania is simply way to underated, I mean, we literally have Ianis Costin Chele, a well all rounder, Janos Bereczki, has ERs and top 10 in the world for big cubes and so much more talented people, I mean we still have a few people competing, like only 1200 people who ever competed representing Romania, but the top cubers here, are top cubers in the world, and I hear nowhere people talking about this country, so here are some stats about Romania that I think it makes it underated:
-We have a 4.07 3x3 single
-Ianis also is 13th in the world for 3x3 OH, AVERAGE, of 9.06
-Ianis has podiumed at Euros, at 2x2, a very competitive event
-Janos had 3 ERs, and still has the 7x7 single ER, and he is also 4th in the world for 7x7 single
-We also have Cristofor Gabriel Costea, who is 22nd in the world for 2x2 Average
-We have 3 people with a sub 7 ao5 in 3x3, and also 2 people who have a sub 5 single on 3x3

Singapore is pretty underrated. Nigel for 2x2 #5 for avg, Keagen has 2.49 Clock ASR single, and Triston Chua Yong has both ASRs for mega also being 2nd in the world to THE GOAT of megaminx, LML

Argentina is quite underrated as they have Leandro Martin Lopez and Caio Hideaki Sato (sorry if I misspelled) as well as Theo Goluboff and Manuel Gutman

I think one of the most underated countries has to be New Zealand, with only 5.1 million people living there, they have some really competitive times and many OcRs. Overated countries would of course be the US and China as many other people have said.

I know it's not the most underrated, but of course I want to talk about my country, Ireland.
We have Ciarán (obviously), who has 44 ERs, is european 7x7 champion, and came second in worlds for 6x6.
We have Jack Corr, who is sorta world class in clock, with a 2.83 single and 3.50 average, (WR40 and WR26 respectively)
Although she represents Mongolia, Namuun Natsagdorj, lives in Ireland and attends most Irish comps, and has held FWR for clock single and average, with a 3.04 and 3.83.
We have Simon Kelly, one of our delegates, who specialises in blind events, regularly attempting up to 30 cubes in MBLD.

We are 33rd on the Country Kinch ranks, above countries like Israel, Norway and South Africa

Anyway, I think the most underrated cubing country is either South Korea, or Russia, both ranking in the top 10 on the country kinch ranks.

How is China overrated? In what sense is their reputation undeserved?

You could make the point that they're a powerhouse only in 3×3×3, but that's also the most popular event by far. It's not merely population size that's giving them an edge either; China is producing multiple world-class speedcubers at an alarming rate, exceeding every other country combined.

Of the 20 AsRs (not counting singles for the events ranked by average), China has:
222 average (Yiheng) (he has it even if you don't count the 0.78)
333 average (Yiheng)
3BLD single+average (Yifan)
Pyra average (Lingkun)
Skewb average (Kaixi)
4BLD mean (Kaijun)
5BLD mean (Kaijun)
MBLD (Yucheng)

And they're no slouch in some of the other events either: megaminx AsR2/WR3 (Ziyu), 666 AsR2/WR4 (Ziyu), 777 AsR3/WR4 (Ziyu), FMC AsR4/WR9 (Yunhao), OH AsR4/WR11 (Ruihang).

Oh, and don't forget, pretty much all the speedcubes we use are designed and manufactured in China.

How can you say that the USA is overrated??? We literally have TWO-THIRDS of the WRs (maybe a little more if Volo switches his residence). We also have some of the most dominant cubers of our time (Max for NxNs, Tommy/Stanley/Graham/probably Rowe for BLD, Alexei/Nicolas for Mega, and Zayn for 2x2/Skewb) I would say this is pretty significant evidence as to why the USA is not overrated.
