Okay, after some time, I have coded, 3d modeled, and 3d printed what I believe to be is the worlds first 3x3 speedcube ball core. the ball specifically gives room for magnets in the future and also adds stability to each of the axis. Let's see if this thing works and how long it holds up. For now, this core is for qiyi cubes. l will be putting it in my qiyi ms, but this could also work for the xmans, valks, qiyi mp, etc.
here's a picture:

So as of right now, there are no magnets?
It would be cool to use a universal design so you could just mass produce
as of now, I haven't added magnet slots, and the holes in the axis have to be drilled cuz they are so small. I'm pretty certain now that this would work on almost any cube. am planning on making more and doing tests with big cubes although not sure how the heavier cubes will take to the not so premium core. each core took only 17 minutes to print. that means roughly 80 cores per day which qualifies for mass production.

I'm not going to say this thing is meta, but it can hang with the big boys.
check out this average (this is pretty good for me):

my core is pretty generic. six stick with holes in them. I should be able to squeeze it in. will try soon.
I meant, the inner rings of the pieces are a little different shape
If you watch the Cubicle's video on the mag core MGC 4x4, you will see what I mean

I see what you mean... may have to rethink this. maybe this will only be a 3x3 core. filament printers are unable to print with such detail unfortunately.

super good times. almost pb single, and a pb sub 16 avg.
