Here are the results from Round 3! As always, the top performing competitors from this round will be granted an advantage in round 4. The top four (highlighted in gold below) will be granted that advantage, which I will detail in my instructions for round 4.

Unfortunately, @gsingh is the unlucky duck of this round and will be banished to a realm where no puzzles exist besides the LingAo clock. ☹

1. @CAPTAINVALPO96 : Clock; 9.37; 0.00 off

2. @SkewbIsTheBestEvent: 4x4; 55.28 - (0.01/0.25) = 55.27; 0.00 off

3. @Cubist-Guitar: 3x3 OH; 23.42 + (0.13/0.25) = 23.55; 0.00 off

4. @Abram Grimsley: 4x4; 54.95 + 0.25 = 55.20; 0.07 off

5. @AJT17 2x2; 3.92: 0.57 off

6. @An Animating Cuber: 2x2; 4.67 - 0.25 = 4.42; 1.07 off

7. @AhsanDaCuber125 : 2x2; 5.79; 2.44 off

8. @bldcuber314: 3x3 16.80 - 0.25 = 16.55; 3.28 off

9. @gsingh 6x6 3:02.07; 6.38 off

I will design and post the guidelines for round 4 when I am able. This is a busy week at work (which is my priority), so I ask for your patience.

Time fo(u)r round 4!

This round will operate similarly to round 2, and I will once again randomly split you into pairs through a list randomizer (accounting for one person of the previous top 4 being in each pair). You will be randomly provided two (2) event options which both competitors are able to do.

The big advantage of this round is that those who placed in the top four (of round 3) get to select the event they'll both do!

The four winners are safe, and the remaining four will be split into pairs with a random event. The two winners from this elimination challenge are safe, and the two remaining are BOTH eliminated.

Here are the pairs and event options!

1. @CAPTAINVALPO96 and @AJT17; Event options: Pyraminx or 3x3 OH

2. @SkewbIsTheBestEvent and @An Animating Cuber; Event options: 2x2 or 3x3 OH

3. @Cubist-Guitar and @AhsanDaCuber125; Event options: Pyraminx or 3x3

4. @Abram Grimsley and @bldcuber314; Event options: 5x5 or 3x3

For the top 4 with an advantage this round, you can state your event selection on this thread. Once event selections are made, I will add scrambles to THIS post as I'm able. Times will be due NEXT Sunday (September 1st) at noon (12:00 PM) EST. I have a multi-day event with my department this week, so I'm providing more time. PLEASE DM YOUR TIMES TO ME.

Please let me know your event selections today if possible!

Might as well not do this round and just eliminate the bottom four from last round then, because there is no way anyone would win for example 5x5 against 3x3 lol

Oh no both competitors in a pair do that event I meant. I made a mistake in writing this

Edit: Instructions are now up to date and corrected.
Ah ok that explains a lot haha

By the way, I think this is the first forum competition that I recall following with interest without participating, so well done!
