Might as well not do this round and just eliminate the bottom four from last round then, because there is no way anyone would win for example 5x5 against 3x3 lolTime fo(u)r round 4!
This round will operate similarly to round 2, and I will once again randomly split you into pairs through a list randomizer (accounting for one person of the previous top 4 being in each pair). You will be randomly provided two (2) event options which both competitors are able to do.
The big advantage of this round is that those who placed in the top four (of round 3) get to select the event they'll do, and their opponent gets the remaining one!
The four winners are safe, and the remaining four will be split into pairs with a random event. The two winners from this elimination challenge are safe, and the two remaining are BOTH eliminated.
Here are the pairs and event options!
1. @CAPTAINVALPO96 and @AJT17; Event options: Pyraminx or 3x3 OH
2. @SkewbIsTheBestEvent and @An Animating Cuber; Event options: 2x2 or 3x3 OH
3. @Cubist-Guitar and @AhsanDaCuber125; Event options: Pyraminx or 3x3
4. @Abram Grimsley and @bldcuber314; Event options: 5x5 or 3x3
For the top 4 with an advantage this round, you can state your event selection on this thread. Once evebt selections are made, I will add scrambles to THIS post as I'm able. Times will be due NEXT Sunday (September 1st) at noon (12:00 PM) EST. I have a multi-day event with my department this week, so I'm providing more time.
Please let me know your event selections today if possible!

Ah ok that explains a lot hahaOh no both competitors in a pair do that event I meant. I made a mistake in writing this
Edit: Instructions are now up to date and corrected.
Ah ok that explains a lot haha
By the way, I think this is the first forum competition that I recall following with interest without participating, so well done!
Uhh I might be cooked2. @SkewbIsTheBestEvent and @An Animating Cuber; Event options: 2x2 or 3x3 OH
This comp was very fun, it was a pleasure competing. (I'm not quitting, but I average 15 on 3x3 and I'm even worse at 5x5...)
The only one I have a chance in is Pyraminx, so Pyraminx it is.Come on @CAPTAINVALPO96 there is an obvious choice, please don't let me down, please, one choice, its super obvious!
Agreed, I'm very sad that I didn't get in in timeAh ok that explains a lot haha

I like 2x2 more but if you want to do OH I'm fine with thatUhh I might be cooked
Yeah judging by your results I don’t have a chance either way, so do 2x2 so I can lose fasterI like 2x2 more but if you want to do OH I'm fine with that
Nooo I average 3 mins...(don't do big cubes). Well I guess I should hope for the best in elimination round.me and @bldcuber314 will be doing 5x5, please.
