Good afternoon everyone,

I haven't hosted a forum comp in a very long time, but that isn't true anymore...

Register if you dare for the most whimsical and unpredictable cubing experience of your life. That is your disclaimer, as this competition will not operate like any other. More details and instructions WILL follow soon.

For now, say if you wish to register and post any and ALL events you are able to complete. That is ALL WCA events (2x2-7x7, 3×3-5x5 BLD, MBLD, 3x3 FMC, 3x3 OH, Skewb, Pyraminx, Megaminx, Clock, and Square-1. This is not a guarantee you will compete in all, or that all will be present.

The events are a mystery and their means of selection will be revealed shortly. The unpredictability of this competition is what gives it charm.

Registration will end in TWO DAYS (5:00 PM EST on August 15th, 2024) and has a competitor limit of TWELVE (12; 7 + 5, etc.). The competition will begin the following day (August 17th). The first 12 to comment will be selected. If you need to drop before the competition begins, the person who commented 13th (and so on) will be given your spot.

I'll register!!!

the events I'll do are 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, Megaminx, OH, and Pyraminx

And with that, all spots are taken! People can still say if they’re interested. If someone drops out before the competition begins, others will be taken in on a first come first serve basis.

Since registration filled up so quickly, would everyone be alright with starting sooner?
Definitely on my end

Sure, we can start whenever.

I’m cool with starting early!

ROUND ONE

RULE #1: You must DM me your times. Do not post them here, as it will provide an advantage to other competitors.

Rule #2: No filming is required, but please use a stackmat if possible.

Rule #3: There is no rule #3.

So here’s how it works. This competition is elimination style; one or more competitors will be removed each round. Every round will be a unique twist (get it) of events and associated mind challenges. For this first round, you will need to self reflect AND analyze the other competitors.

Select an event NOT INCLUDING 2x2 to solve an Ao5 of. It can be any event. All times will be ranked and places #3 and #6 (from a random number generator) will be eliminated. Like I said, ANY event apart from 2x2 that you wish.

Best of luck to you all. Times will be due in two days maximum. Remember to DM me the times (and event of your choosing) rather than posting them here.
