Don't know what L2L4 is?
Gah. Finally a scramble where I knew things. :D And then I go ahead and +2 it.

Scramble:
R L2 D2 L2 F' D2 U2 R2 L U2 F' B L2 D R2 D2 R U B R2 U F U2 B' D2

First layer:
r F' U2 r2 x4 B' r
U R2 U2 R u' R2 (12/12)
I got so lucky with the 1x2x3. I /should/ have done a YGO block (yellow 2x2), but I saw a green block (starting DFR, UL, and DFL with extention). I started with doing that, messed up, and “I accidently a block” after I saw the line on B during a crazy x rotation. Basically: I saw that I messed up, and had an awesomely lucky recovery.
Looking back at the scramble, I think “what? How did I not see that blue craziness on the U face?!”

CO:
U2 to recog (1/13)
T case, BL good; do alg
L2 U L2 U' x U R U2 R U2 R' U L2 x' (12/25)

CP:
awesome. CP is done (1/6 chance). Just throw an edge in adjacent to the FL edge (BL or FR)
[E', R U R'] (8/33)

FL+FR:
y2 to recognize
“wtf, stuff is done everywhere?!”
U' to set into UF good FL bad (1/34)
[L' U L, E'] (8/41)

ELL:
“YEAHH, Pure Opp!”
(M' U)*4 U (M' U)*4 U (17/51) +2s penalty for AUF fail
U (still 53 moves, really)

Oh, and an "oops" for the waste of time watching me text. :p
<statue> (reconstruction is super-easy with L2L4 :p)
<statue> Assuming I do the same block, odds are I'd do everything else the exact same
<Venim> nosht
<Venim> you ahve to
<Venim> sorta :p
<statue> :p
<statue> well, could do a different CO
<statue> which'll lead to other ****
<statue> I just look in the E-Slice for a piece that *doesn't* have a U-color sticker while rotating U to be the way I recog the case at
<statue> if you learn like 64 algs rather than 105, you can depend on that happening 69/70 of the time :p
<statue> the rest of the time, just BS 2-step
-statue

Side-note: <3 comms for making FL+FR algs

Side-note 2: I'll be sub20 average with full L2l4 by Nationals.

*Wrists on timer* Cheater :p

I could see this method being really fast if you could get really comfortable with all the algs and recognition was quicker.

Thom: enh. I guess "L2L" would be the best thing to call it. It just doesn't feel 'right.'

Also, a 3-step L2L that I've been working out would only be about....700 algs :D
Oh dear, that'd be insane... (not doing this.)

CLL+FL = 344
EO7+FR = 260
EP6 = idk, guessing 100?

The "ZBLL" of L2L_
You seemed so reluctant to the idea when I talked about it...
Wonder how bad recognition and recollection of the Algorithms would be?

I'm very much *still* reluctant about it. In fact, I'm entirely against it. Too many algs.

I was just bored during a Sociology lecture, so I decided to do some math.
it's 344 for CLL+FL, which should be easy recog.
it's 260 for EO7+FR, which should be...a bit less easy recog, but sub1 with practice.
apparently it's 360 for EP6 (according to Thom) but I think this is lower. Idk. 6!/2 gives me that, but I'm thinking it's less.

recognition is "meh." Keeping all of those algs stored is...blegh.

Just because my algs are comms doesn't mean they aren't algs.
You did CO + an edge. (yay L2L4)
You got a CP skip so you just inserted an edge. (still yay L2L4, but skip, so you didn't use an alg like I said)
At this point you should have done EO.. you didn't.. you did FL + FR, then ELL. (boo)
Aka, not L2L4.
