SpeedCubeShop.com - Established in 2009 - Warehouses in the USA & Canada

That's... deceptive. The picture showing the $12.99 price is the stickerless.
This is native Shopify functionality that we cannot change. When the price says “as low as” or “starting at” this means that not all variants of a product are on sale.

If you see a reduced price that does not lead with “as low as”, then all variants are on sale.

I hope this helps provide some clarification. You are always welcome to contact us with any questions or concerns 👍

@camcuber I really appreciate your community interactions here. The other cube store seems to have forgotten this site exists.
Thank you!
It does somewhat. Still...the picture is a stickerless and you don't get that price for the stickerless.
The product variants are ordered so that stickerless is first since it is by far more popular. As a result, the lead image for a product listing corresponds to the image set for the first variant. I have not been able to remain in business for the last 15 years by trying to deceive my customers.

I reached out to Shopify support regarding your concern and they didn’t have a solution for me other than advising customers refer to the “as low as” or “starting at” text listed before the price. I will continue to give this some thought and if you have a suggestion for how we can alleviation your concerns, please pass them along.

Thanks and enjoy your weekend!

EDIT: I forgot to mention that at one point I explored re-ordering the variants so that the on sale variant was first. We encountered a fair amount of confusion with customers not noticing that the variant was black plastic, for example, and being disappointed upon delivery. Ideally we would mark down all variants but depending on our inventory strategy this doesn’t always make sense. I guess at the end of the day it’s impossible to make everybody happy but I’ll keep trying 😁

Some suggestions:

1) Include both stickered and stickerless cubes in the product photo
2) Change the primary photo for the listing to the cheapest one when it goes on sale
3) Separate the black one from the stickerless and treat it as a different product
4) Put stickered and stickerless on sale at the same time
5) Change the default configuration to the cheapest one when a product goes on sale

The GAN 14 mag lev pro UV on SCS is £6 cheaper than KewbzUK. But my one arrived in less than 24 hours. I get KewbzUK adverts on the forum in messages.
Considering it costs about maybe 50p to make a cube in China - needs to be way cheaper for UK shipping. And SCS still make a profit.

I believe I found a way to automate the sorting of variants by price. As previously mentioned, this has caused problems in the past, but I will give it another go!

We do not set shipping rates to the UK, and a lot of the "shipping price" that you are seeing is the inclusion of duties and taxes, I suspect. We are working on another solution for our UK customers anyway so it should be a non-issue in a few months!

when speedcubeshop has a booth at competitions, do they sell stickers???? wondering because I might be making some stickered force cubes and I might stop by a comp to buy all the supplies. that being the cubes and the stickers. also, do online sales apply to in-person purchases? thank you!!
We generally do not sell custom-cut stickers at competitions since the variety of colors and different templates is extensive. If you are attending a competition in Las Vegas, your best bet is to visit our showroom and pick up a set in person. Otherwise, if you contact us beforehand, we can bring your stickers to the competition for pickup.

I have been involved in the speedsolving forums since 2008 and am excited to continue as a sponsor, vendor, and cuber. For those of you who don't know, I started SpeedCubeShop at the age of 14 in 2009 with $200 and the dream of being the largest speedcubing and twisty puzzle shop worldwide. I am proud to say that after so much time I have built a company that operates internationally, employs great people, and has stayed true to the values that helped us get to where we are today. If you want to learn more about me or the company's origins, check out the video below.

@camcuber I’m curious if you have any plans to open a warehouse in Asia. If so, do you have an idea of when this might happen?

@camcuber @Noah_SpeedCubeShop
I'm going to the LaLaLand 24hr comp.
will the SCS booth be selling yupo 2x2's , qiyi m pro 4x4's , and scs logo stickers?
I'd love to drop in and pick some of those up!
Glad you'd be picking up some M Pro 4x4s, I've always wanted to try them.
