These'll probably end up on YouTube due to some unscrupulous crooks. ;)

Anyhow, qqwref wanted me to do this (well, I asked him if I should and he said "sure":

Gunji's 9.75:

Scramble (cross on D):
L2 F2 D2 F' R2 U2 F D' L B' R2 D2 U F D R' B L F'

Solve:
xU'R'U2r'uL'D2' (7)
L'UL (3)
yUU'RU'R'yURU'R' (2+7)
Uy'RUR'y'RUR' (7)
U'R'URU'yRUR' (8)
RU2'R'U'RUR'U'RU'R' (11)
yx'R2D2R'U'RD2R'UR' (9)

Awesome Lucas! though, you might want to change it from "KCA Korean Open" to Kawasaki ;-)

so his TPS is like...5.54 turns per second!

Do you mind doing one for my solve as well? xD

Uh, yeah. Done. Now I can deny it ever said that. :p

 I tried timing that exec and got 13.xx...

Well, since you asked so nicely... Problem is, zoom is bad on your cross in both vids, and cross is hardest to reconstruct (I couldn't manage to reconstruct it on my OPR).

That's true...I remember doing some kind of R D2 R' at the end of the cross though. I don't know if the scramble was ever saved (probably not?)

Btw, I would've done something like...:

Scramble (cross on D):
L2 F2 D2 F' R2 U2 F D' L B' R2 D2 U F D R' B L F'

Solve:
x U' R' U2 r' u L' D2' (7)
U R U R' (4)
U2 L' U L (4)
U R' U R y U R' U R (8)
U' R U R' U R U R' (8)
R' U' R U' R' U2 R (7)
R' U2 R U R' U2 L U' R U L' U (12)

=50 moves total

Well as the cube is sitting on the table you can see some of the cube could you use that along with some slight guess at what the moves are?
Alright, do you want me to shakily film a physics lecturer at low resolution and expect you to find out what formula was written because you could watch his hand and see part of the formula (at low resolution) at the end of the clip?

Harris: The scramble would be a lot more help than the tiny cube in that clip. :) Why are cameramen so concerned with the scene if they're filming a solve excpected to be fast? ("Yes, we know Harris's head stays on during OLL!")

I got it!!! White = U and Green = Front:

R B' R B2 F U2 L2 B R' D2 U2 F2 U2 L D' B F2 L2 R' B' R2 U L2 R B

Cross: x2 y R' F L R2 d' R2
Alright! Done!

My solution (What a blatant xcross!):
y' D2 LF'dR2'
UL'ULU'L'U'L
RB'R'BRB'R'BRB'R'B
U2yR'UR2B'R'B
d'R2U2'R2'U'RURU2'R'UR'
U2RU'RURURU'R'U'R2
(57 total moves)

But after your first F2L, I would have done exactly what you did.

The benefits of colour neutrality:

y' D' R2 D' L (4)
R U R' U y' L' U' L (7)
R' U2 R (3)
y L' U L U2 y' R U R' (7)
U' y' L' U' L U' y' R U' R' U R U' R' (12)
R U2 R' U' R U R' U' R U' R' (11)
R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U' R U R' F' U' (15)

59 moves, although 6 moves could potentially be cancelled out, making that 53.
Maybe similar length, but definitely easier triggers, and the really easy start helps with look ahead (most of the move count is in the last pair+OLL+PLL, all of which are the fastest part of the solve anyway).

EDIT: doing that solve actually just gave me what would have been my best time had I not done the solve several times and already known what to do :) . It actually felt good, knowing I have the potential to get sub-13 :) .
