Gah. I'm sure if you sat down during 2x2, it would've been closer to WR avg, if not WR avg itself. When you stand up, the cubes, and your hands, are further away from the stackmat. Doesn't matter so much in 3x3 but in 2x2 I think it makes a difference.

ok this colour neutrality thing is throwing my head in a spin. I'm dying to follow the steps to that 7.71 solve, but I can't work out what colour the cross is on (or front face) from whatever initial position. Could someone tell me what the U and F faces are after the x' z' rotation if I started the scramble with say Yellow on top and Red on F. Thanks.

EDIT2: Hmm, I think I got it now, but one question: was that last F2L some kinda Winter Variation, or was it general edge control that got lucky on the corners?
