After 93 competitions, I finally won one! :)

Counting 1.9, 3.1, 4.5 💀

I +2'd the first solve 3.12 + 2
Second was a smooth one look.
Third was a bad case that I locked up on, 4.5
At this point counting a 4.5 I was sure I wasn't winning.
Fourth was a 1.7, one-lookedinto two-sledge (kinda safetied)
Fifth was a 3.1, fumbled but it was a good case.
The most inconsistent winning skewb average ive gotten.

+2 out of 2.75 avg, wouldn't have been pr so i dont care

yoo congrats! Excited to see you at the nyack side events comp too if you're going

I went to New York for competition and it went pretty well. (5 days late 💀)

Skewb didn't go well in either rounds, somehow mis-onelooked a two move layer into double hedge :(
In terms of skewb single I just hope I get 3 moves to sledge or smth like that again and do good on it

But everything else went really well.
Mega: 48.16 PR Avg, over PB :) Also got 3rd somehow
Clock: Second round 5.22, Third round 4.86, Pretty happy as now I have an avg that represents my global. Also puts me in phase 1 for worlds
OH: Got mid averages but on the last solve of finals I was at an 8 move last layer at 10.5 and locked up and got a 13.18, still PR single though
3x3: Got an 8.15 Avg :) That is really good for me, idk the average had good lookahead and turning. I wont beat this for a while most likely.
FMC: 28.00 mean, this mean went the exact same as my previous PR mean, two really good solutions (27 and 25) and then a 32 :(. I couldn't find any good DRs so 35 minutes in I quit DR and blockbuilded into a OLL skip into a Ja Perm 💀 . I used the OH J perm (Sune cancelled into Niklas) and it cancelled one move on inverse. A 32 without DR is still for me though, could've went worse.

Now my kinch went from 48xth to 412th, one step closer to top 100 :)

I have a 3 week break between comps, that hasn't happened in a long time, just shows how much I compete 💀 5 comps from 100 as well

Worlds Phase 1 came way sooner than I had anticipated (I expected phase 1 to be late december) so that means the title has been changed to phase 3. Even that might be challenging so as long as I qualify for every event I will be satisfied.
i'm planning a big cubes/BLD comp for February so hopefully that gives you the results you need for it

20 Moves!!! PB

INSANE Solve
Finding a 7 move HTR out of 4QT is really good, and once I found it the ending was really straightforward. PB by 3 moves!!!

I have 2 rounds tomorrow, hoping for Sub-26 mean, but I'll need to get lucky.

Also correct me if I am wrong but I believe this is Forum Record.

Pretty sure it is for active forum members, Jayden Mcneil and Cale School both have accounts on the site but don't use them to post.

Guys I just got a Skewb average I got today that I want to talk about.

This average was the closest I have been to top player.

1st Solve: 1.58, 3 moves to a 2 sledge case, pretty simple and straightforward, one-looked.
2nd Solve: 4.11, It was overall a bad solve, bad solution, bad case, and bad turning.
3rd Solve: 2.36, 3 moves to Z perm Conjugate (3 sledges cancelled) I had a small hesitation but overall good solve with good turning.
4th Solve: 1.50 This scramble was the best out of all of them, two moves to a good NS alg, my turning was really good with nerves.
At this point my blood pressure was the highest it has ever been. I could not even sit down. I had Sub-2 BPA and needed a 2.05 on the last solve for Sub-2 average, needed a 2.46 for Top Player, and needed a 3.92 for PR.
5th Solve: This scramble was TERRIBLE. There were only two viable layer solutions, both of which weren't that good. I did the better of those two and got a terrible case, in which I locked up on and DNF'ed (It was past like 4.5 seconds so I don't care). I checked the scrambles after and the other layer solution gave a mid case, so if I had done that I could've gotten at least PR, but I am not complaining. The scramble was just terrible.

The average was 2.68, with counting 1.58, 2.36, and 4.11 ☠️

To conclude the scramble set had three really nice scrambles and two really bad ones. Because of that, I am not mad, and I have been getting Sub-3 averages regularly, which is motivating me to practice a lot this month and maybe get top player if I get good scrambles and don't choke (I have 5 rounds this month).
