Guys I just got a Skewb average I got today that I want to talk about.
This average was the closest I have been to top player.
1st Solve: 1.58, 3 moves to a 2 sledge case, pretty simple and straightforward, one-looked.
2nd Solve: 4.11, It was overall a bad solve, bad solution, bad case, and bad turning.
3rd Solve: 2.36, 3 moves to Z perm Conjugate (3 sledges cancelled) I had a small hesitation but overall good solve with good turning.
4th Solve: 1.50 This scramble was the best out of all of them, two moves to a good NS alg, my turning was really good with nerves.
At this point my blood pressure was the highest it has ever been. I could not even sit down. I had Sub-2 BPA and needed a 2.05 on the last solve for Sub-2 average, needed a 2.46 for Top Player, and needed a 3.92 for PR.
5th Solve: This scramble was TERRIBLE. There were only two viable layer solutions, both of which weren't that good. I did the better of those two and got a terrible case, in which I locked up on and DNF'ed (It was past like 4.5 seconds so I don't care). I checked the scrambles after and the other layer solution gave a mid case, so if I had done that I could've gotten at least PR, but I am not complaining. The scramble was just terrible.
The average was 2.68, with counting 1.58, 2.36, and 4.11
To conclude the scramble set had three really nice scrambles and two really bad ones. Because of that, I am not mad, and I have been getting Sub-3 averages regularly, which is motivating me to practice a lot this month and maybe get top player if I get good scrambles and don't choke (I have 5 rounds this month).
