[Unofficial] Skewb 9.91 Ao12 (POV)

I completely agree with nathan. While I don't consider myself elite, (23rd in the world) there's a huge difference in turning speed and look-ahead between my solves and yours. If you want to work on getting better, focus on tracking the U center, find a better hedge fingertrick, work on recognition, and switch to the polish sledge (I think you are doing the odder fingertrick). Also, I feel like the look ahead on this solve and your 1.81 doesn't quite "match". You seem to have no idea where the U center is, which makes me doubt the 1.81 even more. Just sayin'

I feel ya. In the 1.81, it seemed like you knew - I'm referring to CuberRiley - (almost like a one look) that it would be a sledge skip, not saying that's it's hard (it is) to one look, but it's super unlikely you would be able to do it considering you average like 10.

In all seriousness, if you are trying to seem fast by making "tips and tricks" but do beginner like solves, and faking fast solves, that doesnt really slide here on these forums.
Obviously I don't know, but that's what it seems like to many of us.

Honestly, it seems to me like REcuber just wants to have attention and to seem fast to the community. This is really silly, because you don't need to be fast at all to have respect in the community. In my opinion, the best thing the community can do to keep this kind of dishonesty in the community out is to just not give them respect until they've earned it. I don't think REcuber will read this, but if you do, the best thing you can do is just own up to the fact that you've made some mistakes. Jacob Hutynk did it, and he didn't lose respect in the community after.

Ummm... if I might ask, what happened with Jacob? (Hopefully this question doesn't cause trouble or anything)

EDIT: Nvm I found out

This guy has been doing this for months now. He's already showed a very very fake looking 8 second 3x3 single (Things were pointed out in the video like how the way his cube was scrambled didnt match the one on his computer screen, his average in competition at the time was like 1 minute and was fairly new, and his lookahead did not match his beginners turning style at all...) and also a 2x2 average where you could tell he cut out bad solves because the video skipped like he cut out a part of the video. He also didn't try and deny it at all when we said it was fake.

Honestly if you want to look fast, stop spending time making these videos and start practicing so until you're actually fast, like the rest of us are doing. I'm sure it'll make you feel a lot more accomplished than views on a video that isn't even real.
