I heard that the magnets can fall into the pieces, and that if i do corner twist the magnet settings will change.
Should i buy it?

Its so good that even Cubehead decided to update the Yoo Cube into the Tornado v3 mOne word: Yes.
The Tornado V3 M is one of the best cubes released in 2022. I happen to get one myself, and it's darn epic. You can get core magnets (Flagship edition) on it for half the price of a GAN cube! The turning is fast and a little controllable too. Although there are problems, like a layer popping off (cracked rod, it happened to me once, luckily it was easy to fix), or magnets falling off as you said, it is a must-buy. I recommend the Flagship edition because it is the sweet spot in all the options the lineup has to offer.
I actually main the cube so here are some reasons why I main it:I heard that the magnets can fall into the pieces, and that if i do corner twist the magnet settings will change.
Should i buy it?
why is that? is it too fast? because from what I remember I thought the V2 didn't have good reverse corner cutting making M moves harderContrary to popular opinion, I dislike the V3. I decided to stick with the V2 as my main.
I don't agree with you as I mained the tornado v3 for a while and I tried a v2 with primary plastic modded by pi cube at comp. However, I always like to see rational opinions going against the major opinions, like I hate the super ball core even though it was kind of popular.Contrary to popular opinion, I dislike the V3. I decided to stick with the V2 as my main.
I'd say v3 is a safe option as it suits pretty much everyone's turning style with highly customizable settings.I heard that the magnets can fall into the pieces, and that if i do corner twist the magnet settings will change.
Should i buy it?
No. The speed has nothing to do with it.why is that? is it too fast? because from what I remember I thought the V2 didn't have good reverse corner cutting making M moves harder
Are 55 & 55.5 that much of a difference? I think 56 is a bit too big but 55.5 is not a bad size at all. Personally I’m more weight sensitive rather than being size sensitive. I got small hands but I think 55 is almost too small for two handed. 55.5 is a lot better. To me even though the V2 is not as catchy as super ball core and feels a lot nicer, it only reverse corner cut half of my main can do. Moretry tianma x3 snap can do 40 reverse while v2 and super ball core can only do 20. It’s 2023 not 2013, and having line to line 30 reverse is pretty much the standard. At least the v3 can barely cut line to line reverse while the v2 can’t and that’s not even close. To me v3 isn’t the only best but it’s definitely one of the best. V2 is still a good and unique cube like tengyun v1, but isn’t the best for now, but still have their market for some unique quality that they exclusively provide. Cubes like tianma x3 and super ball core has a rather narrower range of cubers that they can fit. To me I think the tianma x3 suits me the best and I main it over tornado v3, but the super ball core is pretty much a bulky catchy locky mess to me and it makes me not wanna cube. However, some may think that the super is so good and they main it, but they may not like the moretry tianma x3 as much. Tornado v3 is good because it is highly adjustable and can suit most people, unless some think that “55.5 is so huge, the 54 dayan guhong v3 and 55 meilong are way better”.No. The speed has nothing to do with it.
It feels extremely flimsy. Its lightweight and hollow, yet at the same time chunky and stiff. Doesnt make for a good feel.
Personally, I prefer my cubes to have a bit of weight and stability to them. I dont want them to feel like a toy. Same reasoning I dont like the RS3M and most GAN cubes.
Because the pieces lack substance, it makes accurate turning difficult. I cant feel the pieces as they move and it's more difficult to tell where they are at any given moment without looking at them. And if I look at them, it's a hindrance to lookahead.
The chunky and clicky feel is sub par, and despite my attempts to lessen it, it persists. I've tried changing the magnet strength, core settings, tried different lubes, and nothing seems to fix this issue that I have with it.
So, why would I spend time and effort trying to make this cube suitable for me, when I have one that's already excellent for my preferences and turning style? I think the V2 has the capability of being a better cube with less setup.
On another note, the size of the V3 (55.5) is half of a millimeter larger than the V2 (55.0). Which isnt a large enough difference to be problematic for turning, but just enough that its uncomfortable.
In addition, the quality control seems to be very poor. I received my flagship with a couple missing core magnets and had to contact TheCubicle for a replacement core, and that was an ordeal. People also mention cores breaking, magnets coming loose, the core tensioning handle snapping, etc.
I think this cube has been severely overhyped, and it isnt as good as people are making it out to be. As well as just that V2 is better fitted to my liking with less setup than the V3.
No, .5 isnt that much of a difference. 55.0 is solely what I have used before the V3, and it's what I'm used to. It isnt enough to cause any issues, but it is uncomfortable. Are 55 & 55.5 that much of a difference? I think 56 is a bit too big but 55.5 is not a bad size at all. The V2 has great corner cutting if it's broken in and lubed properly. It can cut 45° regular and reverse. It takes a bit of effort, but then again, when will you ever need to cut 45° in a real solve?
40 corner cutting on tianma is not regular cut but reverse. Yes, 40 reverse. I doubt your v2 can cut any where near line to line reverse. Even my gan i carry can corner cut slightly better than the tornado v2. I highly recommend you get the meilong 3C as it can corner cut 30 reverse which is decent and is currently the best 55.0 3x3 apart from ys3m. If you can only use 55.0 3x3 comfortably, you’ll probably end up maining the meilong 3C. I think the meilong 3C is better than the super rs3m 2022 tbh
Is that reverse? Even my GAN 356 I Carry can cut 50 normal …
That's reverse corner cut. The v2 is not even close to line to line for reverse.40 corner cutting on tianma is not regular cut but reverse. Yes, 40 reverse. If you want a decent 3x3 immediately, get the tornado v3. However, if you plan to get the ys3m, wait for few weeks for the nano coated version. Heard great things about its nano coating lately and since it has a high chance of becoming a new one handed main as well for many, and the frosted plastic are identical to the rs3m 2020 plastic, which is a bad choice for 3x3 IMO. The tornado v3 is a safe option at least, as everyone knows that it's good.To answer the title: Yes?
I believe that if you just want one cube, get the Huameng YS3. It's ridiculously good and cheaper than the Tornado, and it doesn't have any quality issues. I tried it at a recent competition, and it's so good. However, the Tornado is still a great viable option.
