Don’t know if this is the right place, but here we are.

Registration etc. is quite right normally for cubing competitions, but do you think that if a school were to get 10-15 students and want to attend a comp as a school trip, if they would be allowed in (special registration or smth) or if something would go on differently? Just thinking out loud.

i dont think so, as of right now it isnt too popular for kids to be solving.
its an interesting idea, and i do hope to see it in the future.
(add)
Maybe if it did get more popular, and there were multiple schools going to a competition, then it would maybe be recognized?

I don't think you would have to do anything differently. Just sign up as normal, make sure everyone registers who wants to participate. There is nothing that prevents groups of people signing up and going there "together"

Many competitions also allow spectators, so it would be okay for a teacher to chaperone the students.

March 2024 is the WCA Newcomer Month and as such they have special regulations,

So if it's ideal, go to a comp in march

There’s a bit of concern regarding exam season but not a bad idea.
