Hey guys, I decided to make my progress thread on all WCA events (maybe I'll add some non-WCA events for fun later). There will be my averages week by week, goals, mains and other info. If You have any tips that could make me better, post it here.
Note: My "week" here is Sunday-Saturday - day one Sunday, day 2 Monday etc.

I haven't updated it for ~3 weeks, because I was busy. Now I have more free time.
I have achieved my goals for 2x2, skewb and megaminx. This week, I've focused on pyraminx - I did ~650 solves.
Plans for week 5: Doing 3x3 and pyraminx mainly, also I'll try to improve in FMC. Any tips for fewest moves? I'm using normal blockbuilding (222->223->F2L-1), then F2L->OLL->PLL, but often give up and do CFOP solve.

Thanks, I just did my first attempt with both EO, NISS and pseudo blocks. Skeleton was 28 moves:

Then, I did 3 comms, because I can't do insertions. Finally, solution was 48 moves.

I bet if you got a good 6x6 and 7x7 you could shave a bunch off of your time.
Yes, main reason my times for 5x5+ stay the same for a lot of time is that I don't do big cubes most weeks - ~12 solves/month. That's because they are long - for example, 7x7 solve takes me ~12:00 (~2:30 scramble, inspection and ~9:20 solve). Also, my hardware for 5x5+ is a lot worse than other event, and there is no motivation for me. I'll propably buy Valk 5 M with my next order. Then, I think Shadow M/MGC for 6x6, and Spark M/Hays 7 M for 7x7

The MGC 7x7 is also something to look out for, and right now it seems like it can beat the spark

Updated for week 9. This week I did a lot of square 1, learned scallop-kite cubeshape, full CO, CP and EO. My times went down by ~8 seconds. Now, I'm wondering which EPs I need to learn (I know adj-adj, opp-opp, o-opp, opp-o, both Us on top, H and Z)

Edit: My Valk 5 M will arrive to me on Monday, so I'll propably practice 5x5 a lot more
