Just registered for a newly-opened (2 days) competition not too far away. It's three months away, in September, which is still after my closest competition, which is in July. The competition is the first "specialized event" competition I've been too, if that doesn't make sense that's because I can't think of any other way to describe it. A specialized comp is my way of saying a comp with a different main event, or one with only events of a certain shape, this one only having cube shaped events.
I registered for the events I do, plus 6x6 and 7x7, as I'll have purchased and learnt them by the competition. My hopes for the competition is a Sub-9.5 3x3 average, and decent Big Cube PRs. Other than that, I don't really care about the results as much as my July competition. This will also be the first comp with FMC on a day I'm at the venue, and it's a other event I'm competing in.

Well, yes, I understand that, but considering comps in this area aren't exactly common, wouldn't it make sense to compete in other events as well? Even just the other Blind event?

You can tell how much he wanted that sub two result on those solves.
I wont say that the 3.59 in the ao5 is a bad time, but this could have been a much better average if you would've done it just some milliseconds faster.
