Premier Speed Cubing League (PSL)

WR’s in the sense that they’re recognized as a record by the community, or WR’s in the sense that they’re recognized by the WCA?
More so the community, or perhaps Guinness recognize the WR. WCA is a different league, so if something happens outside of it, I don’t think they would need to mark it.

Question, should solves in this league have the possibility of being a WR, or should they not count for WRs?
I believe that if the PSL and WCA use the same scrambling system and regulations, than it should count as the WR. When this is true, I see no downsides. This would require the PSL and WCA to agree though...

They don't use the same regulations. PSL lets you watch the other person's solves.

To copy paste what I've already said on cf

I'm quite excited about the idea of a head-to-head cubing league and the rankings system. Of course the WCA is fantastic and I still want it to be the go-to speedcubing competition organisation, but I've thought for a while that cubing has a lot of potential in both competing and spectating in formats and events that would be far easier to run outside of the WCA - and the PSL is looking like it could be a good demonstration for that. Bloody expensive though.
