Help needed.

My 356i is quite tougher than my 356X, I've tried to soft it (356i) changing the springs but the one by default is the softest.

I use lube and use the cube a lot, so using it is not going to help. Any tip?

I've thought about cutting the springs but don't know if it's going to help.

Have you tried other springs coming with the 356i?

Yes, the other pair of springs are tougher than the ones that came with the cube. The golden ones are the toughest, and the other silver ones a bit tougher. Have you changed the springs?

No I haven’t. I just thought that there might be a softer one. My solution is to compress the strings by pulling each face outwards. That will make it softer for about an hour.

Battle is a COMPLETELY disaster.... DNF, no matching....
I have more time to cube on weekends but servers are down or busy or whatever.

Ok. So, to put it simply, I got the cube 2 weeks ago (not rounding up). I asked for support on the very first day I had it.
It still doesn’t work, and I received no help yet.
The only thing I am asking for, is to be a little higher on GAN’s to-do list. I am also saying this I don’t seem to be the only person with the problems I described. If you want to know precisely what problems I ran into, check my previous messages in this thread.

There has been no response from @Olivertam in over two weeks now. Is there any ETA on the next update and what issues will be solved?

Despite my numerous doubts I still order 356i Play, its gonna take 2 weeks to reach me but I’m really hoping to get 1 (if not more) major bugfix update of cube station soon.

btw the sign up process was smooth and bug free for me.

My 356i has been incredibly stiff at any settings, and the app for me has not worked in months since an update that took it from working to non-working. Mine is collecting dust in some closet. Not even sure where I put it actually. It had a lot of potential. 'Had' being the key word....

I am back now. Things are getting busy as Chinese New Year is around the corner. I got big news for all of you, that we would start to upgrade (or remodel) the application after CNY to make it better in both user interface and user experience. I don't have any confirmed timetable now but I promise it will gradually improved in the coming few months. I want you to know that GAN will still focus on smart cube industry this year and new types of smart cubes will be released to the market sooner or later. We really appreciated all our supporters still stick to GAN regardless of its not-that-perfect software, and give us some more time we will prove your choice.

It looks like they have only 1-2 persons for the software support or engineers. A shame for such a good cube company.
I hope for a good alternative software like the hakatashi for Giiker or something else.

Can 356i be connected to cstimer?

This was my information. In apple iTunes is no contact adress.
Everything in the app description is in chinese, no English information in the store.
I don't understand the concept of gan. They are one of the best cube companies and there products are quality products, but the app support and the start is really bad. No iPad version, server problems, many bugs... they need a bigger developer team and more people for online Support.
Gan is not a small company and they have great support and quality for the cube sector.

-install chrome browser
-close the official app from gan
-turn on Bluetooth
-open CsTimer in the chrome browser
-chose as input the giiker
-connect the 356i and done ✅

I hope this helps

It doesn't work for me. My iPhone Chrome keep says"Bluetooth API not supported" and I can't find the flag it needs.

Hmmm on iPhone you can test it with WebBLE browser.
But warning, no guarantee that it will work. Some iOS users use it for the Giiker cube
Android users can use regular Chrome

Hello, I would very much appreciate your advice on the following problem:
The cube was fully charged according to the rules but suddenly the bluetooth connection failed and now is not possible to connect the cube again. The account and application are fine, only the bluetooth connection is the problem. The cube does not response at all. Seems it is charged but there is no connection with the tablet even after several restarts. Please help!

HELP!! My GAN 356i arrived two days ago and i still can’t connect it to my phone!!

i’ve tried everything! Charging from different sides, different rotations, shaking it, turning it, deleting the app, even blowing on it !!

any thoughts/help would be so much appreciated!! Right now i feel like i’ve wasted my money!!

Hi Tom, any success with GAN? I have troubles connecting with the bluetooth. Up to the moment it was working fine but today the bluetooth connection just broke. I restarted the device reinstalled the app, charged again the cube for all night but nothing helps.... Any idea?
