Play version is out for $59 ($49 on sale). What do you guys think about it?
Should the version without Gyroscope also be beneficial ial to a relative beginner like me or Gyro is better for beginners?
And is the app usable now?

If you do care about tilt/ rotation detection and would actually go over your old solves again to improve, go buy Gan 356i, end.

But if don’t care about that, the Giiker or the Gan 356i play works both just as fine. It depends on whether you prefer a cheaper one or a better performance one.

The app is usable in some way, but some bugs are still around and crashing still occurs once in a while.

It’s still impossible for some people to even log in.
Probably some more detailed clarification could be helpful here. What device/OS do you use, may be youtube video of steps done? Just to tell you can't login won't help much to understand what is not ok with your device. What did you try to solve the problem? Did you try to register one more new account?

I use an iPhone 7 running iOS 13.3, I registered my account and, when I try to tell another one with the same email, it tells me that my account is already registered, and to just log in.
So, now that I can just log in…no. There’s not even an error message now, it just gives me the empty "error message box", with nothing in it. So, I tried code login… same problem. What do I do now?

There are many free email services like gmail.com, outlook.com, so on. Try to create a new email and use it for registration of the new account. Also if you use gmail as your main email service you can use dots to make the email look different but for gmail it will be the same email. Like [email protected] and [email protected] in the gmail system should be the same email address, so you can use this method to vary email addresses for registration of new user. Also you can provide your registration data to Olivertam via pm. He represents GAN here so he will be able to test and fix the problem for you. But not sure this will be fast.

My Bug Report:
-cant use it on IPad Air 1. i Cant Start Training, Timer and Alg, the Buttons are outside the Screen... 1x or 2x no difference, Same Problem. Is there a Chance of iPad Support?
-I cant send Bug Reports inside the App
-App is crashing and Need a reinstall.

On Android 9 phone everything works perfect, but i want it on my iPad (Bad eyes, big screen...)

I created a new account, it has the exact same problems. (thanks for the tip, even if I already knew it). I’ll DM Oliver, I hope I can get this to work

Reading the entire thread, it’s clear that the software is pretty much still in beta stage.
Everyone who bought the smart cube is acting as a beta tester for GAN.
Software maybe a new domain for GAN but it should remember that they are considered a “Top” company and top companies don’t release sub par quality products.
They’ve rushed the app part of the smartcube to enter the market sooner but isn’t helping their reputation.

I can see the love for the company and they’ve earned it. But if they’re not doing something right then you should question the company rather than blaming the users for their OS/Phone or lack of Chinese reading skills.

Imagine if they release a cube that can’t turn properly for people who live far from china or don’t speak Chinese. That would be outrageous and yet exactly that has happened here.

I beta test a lot of software for commercial music companies and mostly get paid in cash or in gift coupons to their shops.

I really want the app to be great because I want to use the best smart cube hardware but I’m not going to do beta testing for free.

I agree. Honestly getting the 356i is more about the cube quality than the software quality. Which is a shame because better software would make this the best smartcube. I hope they continue to translate the app and and fix the bugs, without releasing another expensive cube to use the app.

I feel so sorry for anyone experiencing Chinese related issues, it seems like a very serious problem. The English version of the app is lacking a lot of details currently, in both the registration process and the app’s ordinary use.

So, as a native Chinese user myself, I made a a Cube Station translation thread. For anyone encountering any form of Chinese issues on the app, please take a screenshot and post it there, and I will translate them as soon as possible. Thank you!

Next Bug iOS:
-No Chance to Start the App. After a new install it works only one time.

Bug Android:
-all times are gone, a reset
