So recently I made a new method called BOP, but someone said that the peak of 2x2 had already been reached, and that there was no point in making another method, so now I am challenging myself to make a method that is similar in speed to EG.
Here is the 1st method(BTOL)(bttyx and that0newe1rdo one look)
1. solve a face, with at least 2 corners solved and the other two corners orientated
2. solve the rest of the cube in one alg

Theoretically, this should rival EG.
There are 204 algs for this method.(A lot less than I thought)(Credit to that0newe1rdo for the algs)

Here is the second method(DTCLL)(double twisty corners of last layer)
1. solve a face, with at least two corners solved, and the other two corners in their right place(does not have to be orientated)
2. solve the rest of the cube in one alg
386 algs (A lot less than I thought)(Credit to robotmania for the algs)

i was thinking maybe solve a 1x1x2 block on the left then solve the rest of the cube in one single algorithm? the algs might be too much though

Here is the method(still figuring out how many algs there are)
1. solve a face, with at least 2 corners solved and the other two corners orientated(does not have to be white)
2. solve the rest of the cube in one alg

Theoretically, this should rival EG. However, I do not how many algs there are(probably a lot), so can someone who is really experienced in method making help me out?
Also this could be faster than eg

I wouldn't call this a completely new method bc it's basically CLL w/ pseudo layers at it's core (But not exactly!). Pseudo Layers is complicated but very intuitive, the main problem with trying to make it an algset is the massive number of algs. This is mostly true for the cases in this method where you have a bar solved. I would call this a mixture of Varasano/EG. The thing is, why would you do a 12-15 move alg to solve the cube from this state when it only takes abt 8-10 moves to use CLL/EG/One-Looking? This isn't exactly unoriginal, but compared to many other 2x2 methods, it isn't very practical. As for wether or not the peak of 2x2 has been reached, considering there is a spreadsheet in the progress for 1.5k 2x2 algs for algorithmic one-looking, I don't think there will be another 2x2 method that can rival what's ready been done.

I've tested the first step, it takes 4 moves max, and it can usually be done in 2-3 moves.
Advanced solvers can one look using this method and it is quite efficient(depends on the algs I will make) and 10-12 move solves are possible.
