I bought a keychain cube a while ago and its got pretty loose after a while, and what I mean, isn't that it's fast, more along the lines of it falls apart when I try to solve it if I force it (which doesn't take much). I was wondering if there was a way to get it to stay together better, I wouldn't mind if said aid made it a slower solving cube, I just want it to stay together (because I'm tired of loosing peices ><)

Thank you!

I have a keychain cube as well, got it (official rubik's) off some job fair, that got me interested in cubing again, played with it so much that the keychain (which was horrible and sharp) fell off and falls apart like yours.

If you take off the centre sticker off you will see some screws. You can tighten these screws and this will reduce the chance of a pop but this will also make it even harder to turn.

I suspect the other problem is that unlike say DIYs the corners are hollow and not closed off with a cap or anything inside so it's easy for them to distort and pop. I'm thinking of filling the corners with say shredded paper or something at some point, but, got a reasonable DIY so never got around to it.

Well I just tried that and with my cube, which is a rubik's brand cube, did not have the screws. I am at a loss.
