This is a thread mainly for my journey in learning mainly full OLL, and PLL. I will most likely use J Perm's website to learn, but may use cubeskills once in a while. I will be posting daily or every other day until I fully use Full CFOP. welp this is going to get repetitive. You can give me some tips if you want, any would be great!
Benchmark Times: 28.21, 31.97, 33.52, 26.39, 41.45 (AO5 is 31.23)
Currently know all of J Perms 2 Look OLL algs, know basic PLL algs, Color Neutral
Goal: Sub 10 in 6 Months.
Here we go...

Everything in life is possible, but in this case, you have to work hard to reach that goal in such a short time.
My advice now is that you work on your F2L a lot, because this will considerably reduce your times.

Have fun and good luck!

Well I haven’t practiced in a while which resulted In my bad times. I usually can get it down to sub 30 if I practice.

I wish I could achieve what you’re about to do with Petrus... I said sub 8 would probably take several year, sub 10 only a bit less... Anyway, congratulations on this big goal, hope to see you complete it!

Cool, what is your strategy going to be? How many algs will you learn per day, and how many solves do you plan to do? Good luck!
Probably 1 OLL alg in 3 days and learn a pll alg within a week.

Log 1 (10/23/19): Well this is a lot harder than I expected. I've learned 2 OLL algs, but to be honest those were easy and I learned them beforehand. I'm close to memorizing 2 PLL algs, and should finish both by the end of the week. Don't know if I can commit time tomorrow as I have to study for spanish. I realize that I'm going to have to work a lot harder in order to finish my goal.

If you want me to comtinue to post like this, on a blog, or a google doc please tell me.

Log 2 (10/23/19 [ITS BEEN A WHILE]): So I haven't posted for a while and the reason why is mainly because I've been waiting for my Gan XS, which is supposed to arrive tomorrow, so yeah. So far I've memorized 5 OLL algs and 3 PLL algs, which is a really good start. I'm close to memorizing 2 more PLL algs and 3 more OLL algs which is nice. I don't have school on Monday or Tuesday next week so I can work more on it.

I'd recommend reading https://medium.com/@maxdeutsch/my-m...-rubiks-cube-in-under-20-seconds-2b2204282575, its someone's journey from going to about a minute to sub 20 in a month. It may help you get an idea of how to practice so you can learn in a short time.]

I'd give more tips, but you have better times than me ;)

Maybe learn all of PLL and then switch to OLL(or vice-versa)? That way your learning one type of alg at a time. (just a suggestion)

TEACH ME YOUR WAYS MAX DEUTSCH. Sub 50 to sub 20 in one month... Ah well. I don’t have much time as him, not a lot of resources, and less self-criticism as a youngster :).

First off, it isn't that hard, you just have to be committed. Using beginner's method I got down from a minute to 30 sec.
Next, I have the doc that I will be posting all logs on, and I just finished the next log. Here it is: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1omgX1KXBvenEynf0gkvs1rbAIXjauO4LICAUU3thnSg/edit?usp=sharing

I am really trying hard to be Sub 20 although I get many times below 20. I have learnt about 70% of PLLs and very easy OLLs. Currently working on F2L , Cross and Look Ahead.
