# My 3x3 Progression

Hi this is a thread for me to share my progress on the 3x3. Currently I need my algorithm sheet to solve it, but hopefully by tomorrow I'll be able to solve it without help, which is when I will time myself. I'm learning the Beginner's method right now. Eventually I hope to be really fast

Good luck!

Just curious: what algorithm sheet are you learning from?

I'm using the videos from Rubik's. I've heard people say that they aren't great but they're the only ones I've been able to understand so far

Although I can solve the white layer intuitively

Have you watched J Perm's tutorial? He has the best beginner tutorial.

I tried, but it didn't really make sense to me and I was having trouble following him

Good luck on your quest. It will feel really good to do it without your sheet!

J Perm is kind of confusing for teaching the 3x3 I have to admit. But good luck, and I am always open if you have a question on a certain step for solving the cube

I like Noah Richardson's tutorial the most; he goes super in depth and covers all the scenarios with detail, but the vid is rlly long
