[Official] Munich Open 2011 Final

Hubi is a giant. :O
of course :>

Too bad LL performance. LL messed up a lot of potential ER solves that day. It's ironic that I got a PLL skip on a pretty bad solve, giving me a 8.46 single NR. However, the finals were so close ^^
I feel good for Jan and that a Munich guy won Munich Open, in the second try :D It took me 2 tries as well to win Austrian Open ^^ Would have been nice though if I had managed to win all 3 must-attend competitions for me this year: Milan Cube Day, Austrian Open, Munich Open. But I guess it's okay, given the lack of practice I have atm, and given the lack of sleep I had that weekend :P

Why is everyone solving with white cross/ yellow on top?
can't speak for the other guys, but I suck at other colours.

In the future, you should stop the judge from picking up the cube and make the judge inspect the cube. I can't obviously expect this from everyone, but I do appreciate an act of honesty from hour experienced and knowledgeable competitors.

We had this happen at the Berkeley competition last weekend. Dan Dzoan had a +2, and we had to basically intimidate the judge into evaluating the cube and giving a result. I'll be working with the Berkeley group to make sure the offending judge is moved to different roles for future competitions.
