I often look at results of other competitions around the US to see how i place. Ive seen the times to advance to second round and finals for 3x3 as well as the cutoffs for other events tend to vary. I know in MD you sometimes need to be sub 12.5 to make finals but i see that podium 1st and second In other areas and finals isn't even sub 20. OH cutoffs here are like 30 sec soft and some places 1 minute. It be interesting to see which states are most competitive. If you would, please leave some information about the cutoffs/podiums and other things about the competitions near you, along with polling.

a little problem with da poll...
The faster options will get selected more because there are more people that live in those states.

Alright, Missouri has only had one competition ever and the advancing average was 28.85. Chris Olson was a supernub back then...

Louisiana is the most competitive state ever, there are competitions every month and you have to be sub 8 to make it to the finals. [obvious sarcasm]

If there was a competition here I think a sub 20 average would be enough to get to finals.

In Ontario [I know that it's a province (go Canada)], you need about a 13 average to make the top 16 finals. If we did top 8 finals like some other places, you would need a least a 10, if not a sub-10 average to make the finals.

Okay, last 3 "normal" comps mo3 top 16 cutoff for each state
A (1) next to a state means there has only been one comp there 2014 or later, in which case i wrote the top 16 cutoff from that 1 comp
A (2) next to a state means there has only been two comps there 2014 or later, in which case i did Mo2 with the two top 16 cutoffs.

Hm, I wonder how competitive NorCal is versus SoCal. Overall, it seems that both regions are really strong, but I'd love to see actual numbers support/deny this claim.

The delegate hasn't been the issue. If my stupid internet would work correctly I may be able to get it official by the end of the week. Just finalizing with the venue.

but seriously I have missed 4 potential comps in a row because of things
please not again lol
