Right now I'm practicing using intuitive F2L and I want to start using VHLS. Half of the algs in there are just mirrors though. What are some techniques I can use to mentally mirror algorithms without actually learning it?

Picture your left hand doing what your right hand would do?

Usually, when mirroring algs, you should try and understand why the original alg works. That way, you should be able to figure out what to do for the mirror of the algorithm without necessarily learning a new alg.
