Method development competition 2023

Welcome to the Method development competition of 2023! I want to ask you as the cubing community what event (WCA puzzle) should be the puzzle to make a method for, this year! So reply with what WCA puzzle should be the theme puzzle for this year’s Method Development competition! (No prize for winning, the competition is just for fun) Also please do not use any existing method you have created!

I think the main reason clock shouldn't be the event is that we have 7simul, which doesn't seem like it can be improved on, as there are 14 pieces on a clock and doing 7 simultaneous moves amounts to doing 14 moves.
Also, how are you planning on ranking the 'generated' methods? Just whichever one you like best?

Screw Pyraminx it's good enough. We already did 4x4. 2x2 and 3x3 are fine. Skewb is fine. Clock is good. Squan is REALLY good. BLD methods are great, and FMC is outstanding already. And OH? It's just 3x3 on steroids.
Really that leaves megaminx and big cubes (5/6/7)
If we had to improve on a method:
In megaminx, really update on pairing and algorithms for the last layer.
In big cubes, find a better way to prevent oll parity (and PLL parity on 6x6), and make lookahead a little better.

I don't really get your reasoning here, just because people don't have a puzzle doesn't mean it can't be done, I don't own a squan, 6x6, and 7x7, but I wouldn't get mad if any of those where picked. TLDR: not allowing votes for a specific puzzle because not enough people own it is stupid.
