Megaminx Reconstructions

I've been toying with the idea of a Youtube channel devoted to megaminx tips, walkthroughs, and reconstructions.

One of the obvious issues with megaminx reconstruction is that notation can be very difficult compared to other puzzles. I thought it might make things simpler to notate rotations by saying which colors were top and front before each set of moves instead of describing notating rotations in a traditional manner. Here is an example reconstruction:

I think the notation works fine, the major problem being that some people have different color schemes. Rotations <x,y,z> should work well as long as axis points, such as the <R,U,F> faces, are defined. This would also allow people to know how the puzzle is held and moved.

Also, scrambling a megaminx correctly takes longer and making sure that there aren't any mistakes in a reconstruction is a pain. If you've got a youtube channel, then video format would most certainly be the best option. I don't even see 3x3 video reconstructions with text recons in the descriptions very frequently, so I don't really see a need for this.
