Meffert's Mini 4x4 and 5x5

At San Diego 2007 I got to play with someone's mini 5x5, and it was awesome. I like how it's all...not a huge brick. Anyway, I ordered one, along with a mini 4x4, from mefferts.com, and I'm wondering if they would be WCA approved?

Yes, any brands are accepted. As long as they act exactly like a rubik's cube.

Actually, that leads to my next question. Anyone think they could compete on Adam Zamorra's giant 2x2? =D
