I average significantly more than this on 5x5, and 10 minutes on 6x6. It's crazy that he's probably 50x faster than what I could get for 7x7 (I don't have one yet though so I can't compare the times)

You could also say 2x2 discriminates against people with large hands, like me.

But maybe for all the people who aren't children and don't like the records in their events getting demolished, who knows? Big cubes might be the solution.
