Looking for 3x3 Rubik's pieces

Hello all. I'm carsenault10, new to this forum.

One of the corner pieces off my regular 3x3 Rubik's brand cube broke the other day. Spin Master offered to ship a replacement Speed cube as a compromise as the shop I bought it from (Amazon) wasn't an authorized seller. My question is: Does anyone have any 3x3 corner pieces they would be willing to sell? The corner piece broke into the 3 colors and aside from gluing them, the missing piece is bugging me. The cube is in the right position, just missing a corner piece. I have already tried SpeedcubeShop and TheCubicle and they didn't have any luck.

To clarify: I would be in need of a Green - Yellow - Orange corner piece for a Rubik brand 3x3 (should be most current from Spin Master as I bought it in 2023)

From what I can tell from the image, it looks like the corner just split; not broke.
Just to be sure, try looking around the corner pieces for any white marks/creases or rough edges, as those are normally tell-tale signs of, by normal means, irreversible damage.

Yeah, I took a look at the pieces. The one of the neck parts that connects to the other 2 halves is bent and has something that looks like a crease on it. I could try and push them back but I'm afraid of breaking them further, hence why I was asking for a replacement piece.

Do you mean they are going to ship you the newest rubiks speed ?

Yeah, I took a look at the pieces. The one of the neck parts that connects to the other 2 halves is bent and has something that looks like a crease on it. I could try and push them back but I'm afraid of breaking them further, hence why I was asking for a replacement piece.

If your going to get a replacement piece, id recommend you try to fix it, you could save some money if it goes well, and if it doesnt work out you can still just find someone here who has the piece you need.

Went to pop the corner in and pushed too hard I guess. My fault.

Yep just got it! ‘Twas nice of them. I’d rather salvage the old cube as I’ve had to for a couple of years and finally solved the thing last year lol. Just had some bad luck putting it back together. I hope to find someone who has a replacement piece!

Honestly, from the little time I’ve used it I think it’s great. Turns much better than the old one. I’ve only ever had the OG Rubik’s so it’s nice to have something that turns better and looks cooler. I love the colors. Yes, I hope I can find a new corner piece. It now is a work desk decoration until I can find one. Thank you!

alright if you never had a true speed cube then get the maxed out moyu rs3m v5 on the cubicle.com it is a real speed cube that will have the best performance for oly 10 bucks more than the Rubik's speed. you don't have to get it now but to get faster in the future a non rubik's cube is a must

unless your cube is really loose/flexible (i do that with my GAN 12 when i’m lazy lol)

Thanks for all the advice, including Caleb , THE_V01DL0RD and CR7GoatSiuuu. I will definitely put the edge in last from now on. I did grab an original Rubik's Speed for pretty cheap as a replacement, but haven't checked around with anyone regarding pieces for the Rubik's OG. i would say it is now a decoration on my work desk since the corner is still broken. If anyone has any leads feel free to send them my way. Thanks again!

Since no one is going to say the obvious: No one is going to sell you one piece of a Rubik's cube. You would need someone who randomly has an extra corner of your exact corner colors and would be willing to go through the effort of shipping it to you at around the cost you can buy an entire new cube. You will probably have better luck asking cube stores for spare parts but I doubt they sell many Rubik's brand cubes.

Edit: Rubik's brand is nothing valuable. Just bend your corner back into place. If it breaks use a knife/superglue. If you're feeling adventurous, try apoxie sculpt. That's what puzzle modders like Tony Fisher use to make brand new puzzles.

Yeah, I've come to that conclusion. I did check a couple of online cube stores like Cubicle and SpeedCubeShop and they didn't have any spare parts at the time I asked. I will try bending it back into place, I do have to assemble the piece as it did break into 3 thirds. If that doesn't work, I'm not going to worry too much about it. It will just be a decoration at that point. Thanks as well, qwr.
