I'm glad to inform you that Liliya recently solved a megaminx blindfolded!
She is the first female who achieved this, and also first person from Russia who did it. Congrats!

Wow! I've never heard of her before but this is a very impressive accomplishment. I've always felt like megaminx BLD is hard for totally different reasons than the "regular" BLD show-off events, that is, big blind and multi. The number of pieces is large, but the real difficulty is keeping track of and visualizing the 60 different positions each piece can be in, and of course doing all those setup moves so you can do a cycle.

Wow! Great job!

That's an amazing time for a first solve (if it is her first solve). My first solve was closer to an hour. How many attempts did it take before success?

Wow. Incredible.

She was holding "female WR" on 3BLD until last weekend, and probably holds f. UWRs on all other official events, but has the same problem as me with attending competitions.

She made 12 attempts totally. First success was at 4th attempt, but it wasn't on camera. That's her second successful solve.

I was expecting more of a reaction though .
As she mentioned in Russian speedcubing community, the reaction was after her 1st success, but it wasn't on cam
