I did learn it, just haven't used it in a solve yet. I did an op/op attempt earlier and was off by a corner twist (technically two since there can't just be one).

I may be missing something, but it is possible to DNF by just 1 corner.

I meant that I didn't corner twist accidentally (in the unintentional way that cubes shouldn't do), it was a problem with memo and I forgot to deal with a corner twist if you know what I mean

Woah I'm improving fast. Applesauce from the bld server has been helping me get better at bld so I can hopefully podium at my comp (and I'm helping him learn to code in return). He gave me the advice to rush, and it's working. I'm averaging 3-4 minutes now. My mean is still 6 minutes though because of my low success rate, 20%.

I'm going to practice going slower a week before the comp, but for now I'll keep rushing because it helps me become faster and faster. If I try to slow down I'll be stuck at the same speed for a while, but rushing helps me get better and better (with a lower success rate, but I have time to fix that)

Honestly I went into my comp blind and nearly got a success if you practice this much I am certain you can podium

Congrats! I would recommend targeting memo. Since I was averaging similar to this, my execution hasn't improved much(and mainly from switching to M2). What got me much faster was bringing my memo down, now it averages like 45 with my best successful memo 22- my execution also takes longer than memo. I would recommend using the same orientation every solve(unless buffer is twisted/flipped) as well as reducing passes and getting used to your letter pairs(what I need to work on). Doing lots of solves also helps.

Not the best times considering I've been averaging sub-3, but I did safety the solves for this. Really happy about it! Also, the review system I was using was really bad according to someone in the blindsolvers discord server, so I modified it to just memo everything and then review it once. My success rate is lower, but that doesn't matter (until a week before my comp). I just got a 2:01 (DNF but still an accomplishment, it was only off by a twisted corner)

I've also done a few more solves, and am now consistently getting sub 2:10. I guess my memo has improved overnight!

I might be going to a PBQ comp in November, I'll update here if I sign up!

I have decided to learn 3 style. I tried learning orozco but it was too confusing for me, so I'm jumping straight into 3 style corners. This means I'll be using m2/3s. I'll try to finish by the first week of August, which should be easy enough if I have enough time to do so. I'll post updates here with things like my first 3s success and my comm sheet (once I make one, of course)

A 30 second decrease from my previous PB, and it was my first success of the day (I got the solve yesterday). I also got it on camera but you can't see my face, so it doesn't even look like I'm doing it blindfolded lol.

About 3-style corners: It's been going well, I'm starting to learn off of a comm sheet and hopefully use it in a solve soon!
