The Moment of Truth...
Again, i have been drilling 5x5 and will continue drilling until i get...sub60 single...
Now my current record is 1:24.77. I almost beat it again today, but i failed by 2 seconds. I got 1:26.00.
But that is not what I am focussing on right now. I am also trying to set a sub 90 ao5 and will continue drilling until I do.
And today, I improved yet another time! My current ao5 is 1:36.02 and was crazy fast even to me.
But today's times were...
1:34.20...
1:32.21...
1:26.00...
1:36.68...
1:37.75...
And there it was! My first sub95 ao5! I double checked it, and it is correct. My new ao5 is now...
1:34.36
I am so happy I beat an AVERAGE today instead of a single...because that means my consistency is improving and my solves are not just pure luck anymore!
However...I still need to practice 6x6 and 7x7...
Which I will see about tomorrow...
Until then...I will keep drilling all my bests until I am world class. I am training for the worlds in 2029... and I don't intend to lose.
I will break the record or my fingers trying.

you can get sub-1:40 with beginner’s/redux…
i personally spammed redux on 4x4 until like mid one minute

Yeah, just yau, you don't really have to memorise anything.

My 3x3 Just Got Goated!
THANK YOU SO MUCH @Caleb Valenzuela FOR COACHING ME!
I dunno if this was pure luck or not. @pjk I love the forum timer!
My previous pb ao5 was 14.78! Caleb coached me and I took his advice!
Minimizing rotations instead of avoiding them, back slots, and oll/pll finger tricks really paid off along with look ahead and some tracking!

Actually they are fire proofed for now. The heat is still hot and getting hotter

Going to drill oh for a while in view of the critique Caleb Valenzuela gave me, slow solves, look ahead, more efficient finger tricks. Drilling oh should achieve all that without making me feel slow.

but what you’re doing is OH. I noticed that your 2H fingertricks aren’t great (which you use your right hand for), which you can’t improve with OH since you’re only using one hand. It will help a little with lookahead though

My Fastest 5x5 Camera Solve
So being a YouTuber I always hope that I will get that one lucky scramble.
Here is what my record was 8 months ago (literally pb on camera)

I do not remember making this video AT ALL and have no idea where I found the freaky music. anyway, here is a casual solve of me now.And I know my 3x3 stage is horrible in both solves,and I am working on it.
@Caleb Valenzuela I know I need to work on smoother moves also. Again, what can I say? I am a work in progress. Here it is, and I feel quite good with the quality difference between the two!

I almost beat my 3x3 oh ao5 today.

And here is my ao5 today.
0.03 difference. I missed it by that much
So to feel better I am going to post my record of the day with oh.
Even then it is not my pb get all crazy kinda thing. My oh no inspection is 19.15
So I have to work on that.
I might destroy these two tomorrow!

I just wanted to drill rather than mess with the settings
I gave up at the time seeing that none of the schemes matched in a hurry hahaha

Today I achieved my crazy long goal (prior to Jan 23,2026) of averaging sub 60 in 4x4
Here it is, the ao5 is now...59.28 AO5 (using the goated Yau method. Just look at the time, it is crazy fast average for me)

Apparently I am making the most progress in 4x4

My ao5 is now 57.97 at best and my ao12 is almost sub 60
I have been just focusing on higher tps actually for my 4x4 solving.
