Is there a place for a Snaking Community?

I’m not sure where a put this thread so i’ll choose the nearest thing to it.

As many of you know snaking is the solving of the rubiks snake, and right now I’m really enjoying “solving” (there are many “solved” states) which brings me to my question is there a “speedsolving” discord or forum for snaking? If so can someone send it to me

i think there is a miniscule community, on youtube you can find a few videos and the sheer speed of solving into a ball is really impressive, i dont know how devoted the community is tho, also question, are there different methods for solving into a ball?

idk it was just funny that someone speedsolves snakes. you should should get the gan snake if you're in to it though.

From what i know no, but for other solving methods (like the square) there are many of them

I was really into Snake in 2006. Johannes Laire and I used to compete against each other to be the fastest. You can still see him and I at the number 1 and 2 positions on the old unofficial leaderboard.

We also made the notation for the puzzle and each had our own ball shape speedsolving method. The two methods are pretty much the inverses of each other.

Interesting that those really good times in 2006 are still good in 2023, tbh it does tell you how inactive the snaking community really is.
