To clarify the title, what I mean is, is there a possibility for a parent-child pair for them both to have cubing WRs? Not at the same time ofc, but maybe the parent one year, then the child in a decade or so. Both becoming World Champions as well could count I guess. It is interesting that we already have examples of sibling WR pair: Zayn and Hassan Khanani. Another pair is Sebastian and Phillip Weyer. This time, it's not a WR pair as Peter lacks WRs, but it would be a world champion pair as they both have World Champion titles. Now the question is if this could happen not to siblings, but parent/child.

If not both WR, what the best rank of the lesser two that could reasonably happen? (What I mean from that is if the parent went up to WR2, and the child went up to WR5, then the lesser of the two would be the child, and WR5 would be the best rank of the lesser two)

Not in the next 10 years; most cubers are young (25 and under) and likely most definitely single. Plus, the whole raising a child thing takes several years (which is unlikely if you are single)
