Is GAN XS worth it in 2026?

I found an XS for around $43 in an online store in my country. Is it gonna be worth my money? Can it be recommended for everyone?

The XS lacks core magnets, and lacks maglev, but it does have adjustable magnets. I personally think it's still a good and viable cube and it's more forgiving than even the 16/v100 series cubes.

Then again, opinions may differ. $43 is a bit of a steep price for a 6-year-old cube, but it's by all means still a very good option.

Sorry! I haven't been on the forum for a while!
I personally never tried the XS but I always did want to try it. There are a lots of better options that I won't get too in depth about. Basically, it a good cube, but I would just recommend newer releases from GAN like the 12 (the last really good cube) or go Moyu Weilong or v5. I personally wouldn't say this cube is for everyone...

for 43 dollars, nope, it’s not worth it, you can get a lot of better 3x3s for a cheaper or similar price. However, if you want a taste of cubes before they became 50% magnets and 50% plastic, it’s a good option as it’s crisp and quite flexible in my opinion (i overlubed mine so it lost it’s tactility)

No, theres way better options for similar prices or even cheaper. The gan v100 is a pretty similar feeling cube to the xs and is much more modernized, and it's 40 dollars.

But yeah, the cube must be like 6 years old atp, so for much cheaper prices there are much better cubes. i main the v100 which like its heir.
