How to make Mefferts 5x5 THE BEST+Screw problem fixed

Ok, because it is old 5x5 mech and pre-lube with a gooey Mefferts lube (but a very even coating) you must clean it.

remove caps adjust tension

Lube and break in.

here's the problem with screw/core

the screw unwinds itself.

go to home depot or other hardware store. buy the most EXPENSIVE threadlocker.
USE BLUE threadlocker.
apply on the faulty screw (remove ALL layers that is held by it).

-A little bubble on the screw and inside the core hole.
-TIP: don't apply on the plastic, it will tighten. also remove screw from centerpiece before applying it



you may replace tiles with cubesmith ones, but not worthed

So why buy the most expensive? Is the most expensive the best? Have you conducted tests to show that the most expensive is better then any of the others? If not, then how can you tell people to buy the most expensive? Also, what about if I buy red threadlocker? Will the mod not work? How can Mefferts 5x5 be better then V-cube? Do you have numbers to support "mefferts 5x5 is the best"?

it may suit some speedcubing styles.
blue threadlocker is removable strength
red is not
so, in short, red thread-locker will make a screw into a rivet
