How to lube a 4x4

Hi guys. I have a simple question to which i haven‘t found a specific answer to.
So on a 4x4 there are these „hidden“ center layers when you pull it apart between two wings. I just got an mgc 4x4 and dnm. I tried to put a few drops of dnm between a wing and a corner (i pulled it apart so i could see the inside of the cube). But this only makes the outer layers faster. If i do wide turns, it still feels very slow and has a lot of friction.

Now the question: should i just put a few drops of dnm between the wings (just drop it on the hidden middle layer), or should i just break it in more or even put more dnm between a corner and a wing?

Put dnm in between the wings.
If you have track lube also you may want to lube the tracks

Ok thanks. Just on the hidden layer? Because its different than a 2x2. If you pull the pieces apart on a 2x2 there are little gaps between the hidden layers. But there aren‘t any on a 4x4

i have weight 5. Not sure if that is for the tracks?

Weight 5 works fine. Try it and see if it’s good. If not you can switch. On the MGC it’s easy to pull out a wing so I would suggest that but if you don’t like that then that’s fine just dnm
